In April 2026, Jason and Kelley Culp purchased Whitebird from Gary Hamm, who was ready to retire after years of leading the business. For the Culps, the opportunity represented a new adventure and a meaningful way to carry Whitebird forward.
A Shared Passion for Craftsmanship
Jason, a mechanical engineer and woodworking hobbyist, was immediately drawn to the business because it brought together his professional background and personal passion. Jason and Kelley also appreciated that Whitebird was a small family business rooted in quality, craftsmanship, and artistry.

Looking ahead, Jason and Kelley plan to continue building the company around the same values that have shaped Whitebird from the start. They are committed to keeping the customer experience at the heart of the business and ensuring every project reflects care, creativity, and mindfulness.
